Southern California Internal Medicine Opportunity

Join an established multi-specialty group as they recruit an Internist for an employed position with their staff.

 

This busy and growing group is over 30 years old, and has 2 Cardiologists plus 1 Internist; total staff numbers 34 employees.  The Internist averages 20 - 25 patients per day in office and 10 patients in hospital.  Call is shared equally, with two hospitals being covered.   

 

Compensation will include a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits.

Lancaster Community Hospital and the Antelope Valley
The Antelope Valley (AV) includes primarily the cities of Lancaster, Palmdale and outlying desert communities with a population of approximately 437,942 people. The Center for Wound Care provides for the needs of people with chronic non-healing wounds. This service includes hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy to provide the Antelope Valley community comprehensive wound healing.

Lancaster Community Hospital, in association with Universal Health Services, will open Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a new full-service hospital in Palmdale. An accompanying medical office building is under construction.

Lancaster Community Hospital is active in the community, participating regularly with the Antelope Valley Board of Trade, Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance, Chambers of Commerce and other civic and governmental groups. LCH believes in "Community Service Excellence" and supports nonprofit agencies such as American Cancer Society, United Way, the Antelope Valley Boys and Girls Club and performing arts organizations.
