Baystate Health is one of New England's largest integrated multi-institutional health care systems and offers a coordinated continuum of hospital, physician services, and home health care services. Baystate Medical Center is a teaching hospital and is the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine. Baystate Medical Center is the only ACS Level I designated trauma center with pediatric designation in western New England. We have over 650 beds, 34 surgical suites, and approximately 2,000 trauma evaluations per year.
