Parkersburg is located in the Mid-Ohio Valley region, on the border of West Virginia and Ohio. Parkersburg is a small community, but Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital serves a population of nearly 140,000. Parkersburg is family oriented with a sense of community that is unlike anywhere else. The Parkersburg school system is among the finest in the state. Pittsburgh Pa, Columbus Oh, and Charleston WV are all within an easy drive of Parkersburg.

Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital is a 300-bed, not-for-profit acute care facility, with a 25-bed skilled nursing unit, which serves the people of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and the surrounding region. Accredited by the JCAHO, the hospital provides a broad range of services supported by advanced medical technology and a highly trained staff.

The 195 Physicians at CCMH represent virtually all major specialties including internal medicine, surgery (general, vascular, and neurosurgery), oncology, anesthesia, family practice, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency services, pathology, radiology, and radiation therapy. Supporting these physicians are more than 1,100 employees and 586 volunteers.

Camden-Clark just completed a $60 Million expansion which added 180,000 SQ FT to the hospital.  This space includes the following:

• 11 Brand new, spacious operating rooms
• 3 adjacent endoscopy suites
• 2 minor procedure rooms
• 18 brand new critical care beds
• 18 brand new step-down beds

Camden-Clark offers a variety of community education programs and seminars, including diabetes education workshops, television forums, CPR classes, first aid classes, cancer seminars, and cardiac rehabilitation education.

Our Pediatrics Department is centered on the philosophy of Family Centered Care, designed to promote the family involvement thought critical to the child's recovery.

Our Special Delivery Unit is designed with the single-room LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) concept in mind, meaning one spacious, private birthing suite for the entire hospital stay.

Our designation as a Community Comprehensive Cancer Program by the ACS Commission on Cancer is reflective of our commitment to provide the finest in cancer care.

The CCMH Emergency Department provides 24-hour physician coverage and is a Level Three Trauma Center.
