Banner Del Webb Medical Center, a 404-bed acute care, non-profit hospital in Sun City West, Arizona, is currently seeking two full time intensivists to work 40 hours/week on day shift in their 24-bed med/surg ICU.   With a call schedule of 1 in 5 for evenings and weekends, this position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including malpractice insurance.  Requirements include board eligibility or board certification in Critical Care.  Units are divided into two 12-bed ICUs.  iCARE, Banner Health's eICU, is being expanded to support additional critical care units and it is anticipated that Banner Del Webb Medical Center will have this service in 2010 or 2011. 

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is located in the growing west valley of the Phoenix Metropolitan area, and its service areas includes Sun City West, Surprise, El Mirage, Youngtown, Wickenburg, Wittman, Goodyear and Peoria.  The Medical Center includes over 600 physicians representing 30 specialties, including intensive care, pulmonary, neurology, heart services, cancer care, orthopedics, surgery, rehab services, emergency care, women and infants services, ENT, vascular and GI.
