Emergency Medicine Physician in Scenic Roswell, NM
BC/BE in Primary Care Specialty; current ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications; ED and moderate sedation experience required.
A brand new hospital, opened in May, 2007, Roswell Regional Hospital is a 49-bed facility with a 5-bed ED and an annual volume of 13,000 patient visits.
Local hospital support includes: Radiology, CT scanning and Ultrasound, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Medical/Surgical ICU, OB/GYN, Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Vascular Surgery, and Gastroenterology. Shifts are 12-24 hours in length. Full- and Part-time positions are available.
The hub of southeastern NM, Roswell is 200 miles from Albuquerque and 170 miles from Lubbock, TX. Roswell has 5 free art and history museums and also offers three beautiful public golf courses, numerous miles of hiking and bike trails, many green parks, Bitter Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, and the Bottomless Lakes State Park.
