EmCare has an immediate need for emergency medicine physicians with a valid 

New Mexico  medical license and ED experience. Successful candidates will

provide coverage in an 11,500 annual volume community emergency department. 

Shifts are available from 12-24 hours.

Mimbres Memorial Hospital is a 49-bed facility with an 8-bed ED and an annual volume of 11,000 patient visits.  Pro-Med charting is utilized here.  Local hospital support includes: Radiology, CT scanning, Family Medicine, Gerontology, Medical/Surgical ICU, OB/GYN, Ultrasound, Urology and Orthopedics. Shifts are 12 hours in length. Full- and part-time positions are available. This opportunity is an independent contractor status position, with an “A” rated malpractice insurance program with unlimited tail coverage. We offer a competitive, recently increased hourly rate for clinical work.

In the southwestern part of the state, Deming is approximately a 50 minute drive west of Las Cruces on Interstate 10.  A rockhounder's paradise, Deming is noted for its Mimbreno Indian legacy, its four state parks, its year-round golf course, and its close proximity to the Gila National Forest and Old Mexico. The desert with the Florida mountains in the background offer spectacular views year round. Our state parks are diverse from one end of the desert to the other and into the mountains of the Black Range. The water and the agricultural influence make Deming an oasis in the desert.
