Melrose Wakefield Hospital is located in MelroseMA which is approximately 7 miles north of Boston. A 225 bed general hospital, Melrose Wakefield offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including inpatient psychiatric care. The psychiatric unit has 22 beds, is very bright with windows overlooking the peaceful landscape of the Melrose area  The floor plan of the psychiatric unit  is well developed  to easily coordinate care of patients. Our hospital provides a full, multi-level continuum of care.  This includes:   Acute adult psychiatry,  Substance abuse,  Geriatric psychiatry,   ECT,  Psychiatric consultations throughout the hospital
