Academic Internal Medicine Position

Mountain States Health Alliance is currently recruiting for 2 internal medicine positions that offer the opportunity for clinical practice, research, teaching residents and fellows.

Practice is well established with 65 internists. Qualified candidates should be board certified with experience as this position will precept residents and give occasional lectures.

Benefits are provided by the state of Tennessee and compensation package is very competitive.

Johnson City Medical Center, is a 550-bed, tertiary facility. It is part of the Mountain States Health Alliance, a 15-facility system and the largest in Northeast Tennessee with programs reaching into Virginia and North Carolina. Johnson City Medical Center is a major medical referral center with Level I Trauma care and the region's only dedicated emergency medical air transport service.  A full range of specialty and subspecialty care services and some of the most advanced diagnostic and surgical techniques are available here.  We provide private patient rooms and have separate specialized units for newborn, pediatric, medical and surgical intesive care.
