Employed Position with Stable Medical Center
Progressive 249 bed hospital in welcoming college community seeks to employ a BE/BC OBGYN to join one other physician in hospital based practice, to provide a full scope of general obstetric and gynecological services. Ideal candidate will be trained in minimally invasive surgery and dedicated to patient care.

Meadville Medical Center has a medical staff of over 130, with 37 medical and surgical specialties represented. The acute care facility provides the newest technology for diagnostic, surgical, obstetrical and emergency services, while the non-acute facility offers inpatient mental health, drug and alcohol rehab, physical rehab, transitional care, outpatient surgery and a pain management center.
Teaching opportunities are available through the medical center’s Osteopathic Family Practice and Manipulative Medicine residency program.
In the spring of 2008, Meadville Medical Center opened the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, a state of the art comprehensive cancer care facility that has been designed around the concept of treating the whole person – mind, body and spirit.
Meadville Medical Center has a service area of approximately 96,000 and is located in close proximity to Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Cleveland. Multiple lakes and woodlands offer year-round recreation including hunting, fishing, skiing, power and sail boating. Facilities & Technology
Advanced technology and physician capability at MMC provide excellent diagnostic and therapeutic services. A major building addition and renovations completed in 1996 provide modern, up-to-date facilities for our patients.
Medical Staff
Approximately 125 physicians representing 37 specialty areas, bring excellent qualifications and backgrounds to the area. Approximately 90 percent are board certified in their specialty areas. The medical/dental staff is particularly strong in primary care. The 33 primary care physicians provide initial entry in to the health care system and are supplemented by the excellent team of specialists representing almost every medical/surgical area. Physicians work closely with the professional staff, making sure every aspect of the patient's care is covered.
AWARDS
Meadville Medical Center prides itself on excellence and has recently received national awards for quality of care. This year, Solucient named Meadville Medical Center one of the nation's "100 Top Hospitals for Performance Improvement Leadership."
