The Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding individual at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for the Pediatric Respiratory Medicine Division at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.
The Pediatric Respiratory Medicine Division covers a Pediatric Pulmonary Ward and consults throughout the hospital, Pediatric Emergency Room, PICU, tertiary level NICU and outpatient clinics at the Children's Medical Center at Dallas, ranked in the top 10 among pediatric hospitals in the nation by US News and World Report. Children’s Medical Center is the primary pediatric teaching hospital of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and includes all pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties. Participation in the educational program for Pediatric residents, fellows, nurses and medical students is expected. UT Southwestern is one of the world's foremost research institutions with four active Nobel laureates, more than any other medical school in the world. Excellent support is available for clinical and basic sciences research. Training in Sleep Medicine is available, if desired. Candidates should have a proven record of academic success, as well as a commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and both basic and clinical research. Positions are currently available for clinicians, clinical scholars or physician scientists. Must be board eligible or certified in Pediatric Pulmonology. Academic appointment will be commensurate with academic credentials.
