Memorial Health System in South Bend, Indiana is pleased to announce the continued development and expansion of Memorial Children’s Hospital, a member of NACHRI. We are actively recruiting a Board Certified Pediatric Neurologistto further establish the foundation for Memorial Children’s Hospital, scheduled for expansion in 2010!
•Referrals will be available from not only Memorial Health System’s strong 70+ physician multispecialty practice, Memorial Medical Group, but also from physicians throughout our 1,000,000 patient referral area.
•Memorial Hospital, a 526-bed Level II Trauma Center and a 36-bed Level IIIB NICU, has a 10-bed PICU, 20 general pediatric beds, and an eight-bed pediatric hematology/oncology unit. With the planned increased augmentation, these services will increase to a 50-bed Level IIIB NICU, 12-bed PICU, 38-bed pediatric unit, and an eight-bed pediatric hematology/oncology unit. Our new surgical department includes 22 ORs, 27 recovery rooms, and 15 pre-surgery beds.
•Memorial Health System is fortunate to partner with The University of Notre Dame and Indiana University School of Medicine in the training of its medical students. The ability to have academic involvement is available, as is participation in clinical research.
