Otsego Memorial Hospital (OMH) is a progressive,independent, fully accredited primary and secondary care facility serving Otsego, Montmorency and surrounding counties. The Hospital and its affiliated services, serve more than 85,000 outpatients and more than 2,100 inpatients per year.
Outpatient visits for providers of the OMH Medical Group including the MedCare Walk-In Clinic, OMH Montmorency Clinic, OMH Oncology Infusion Center, and OMH N'Orthopedics amount to more than 100,000 annually.
OMH employs more than 45 medical practitioners and affiliates with more than 90, bringing a broad spectrum of health care services to the ten communities served. Most of the employed providers of the medical group are housed
in the OMH Professional Medical Building, a 37,500 square foot building adjacent to the Hospital.
Otsego Memorial Hospital opened in 1951 and has grown steadily through the years, keeping pace with the growth of its dynamic home community of Gaylord, Michigan. Our newly renovated outpatient services feature an expanded Radiology Department, including the first open bore MRI unit in Michigan, and our Rehabilitation Services department has added a mock apartment for Occupational Therapy and a therapy pool for Physical Therapy. Our all new Intensive Care Unit and Ambulatory Care Unit and four new surgical procedure rooms have enhanced our services to both inpatients and outpatients.
The largest employer in Otsego County, with more than 625 employees, the organization is governed by a 10-member Board of Directors representing the Otsego Memorial Hospital Association. The Association is a private and not for-profit corporation, operating independently in a competitive healthcare environment for more than 50 years.
OMH is affiliated with a host of specialists who utilize the Otsego Diagnostic and Specialty Clinic to see patients locally for consultations and procedures. In addition, OMH operates the OMH Medical Group, MedCare Walk-In Clinic, an off-site urgent care facility, the OMH Oncology/Infusion Center, OMH Montmorency Clinic, a family practice facility located in Lewiston, OMH N'Orthopedics, a busy orthopedic practice located off site from the hospital, and McReynolds Hall, a 34-bed skilled nursing facility attached to the hospital,Center, and partners with Gratiot Community Hospital to offer Dialysis Serivces of Gaylord.
