Recently, Pocono Medical Center completed a $54 million expansion project that includes additional clinical space (100,000 sq. ft.) and improved cardiac care. The expansion also included additional patient rooms, a new emergency department, diagnostic imaging facility, a 24-bed ICU/CVU,and 10 new surgical suites. The centerpiece of the expanded facility is the new ESSA Heart & Vascular Institute, which includes open heart surgery.  We are also a Level III Trauma Center
