I currently have an opportunity in Clovis, NM (pop. 50,000) at the Plains Regional Medical Center (106 beds). The opportunity is an employment opportunity to join one other General Surgeon in a Multi Specialty group with Family Practice, Cardiology, Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Plains Regional Medical Center is JCAHO accredited and receives tremendous community support. There is an ICU and a Hospitalist program in place. In addition to Urology, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology and Oncology. Clovis has a very active medical staff which includes primary care midlevels in various practices. The group has moved into their new Medical Office building which is located on the Hospital campus. The Community of Clovis is rich in history, culture, and outdoor activities. Located on New Mexico's eastern plain, Clovis offer a National Wildlife Refuge, State Park and numerous festivals that celebrate the heritage of the area and it's people. Clovis is the home of Cannon Air Force base and neighbor to Eastern New Mexico State University. Clovis offers small town living choices with ranching, farming and metropolitan conveniences. Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas are only 90 minutes away and provide all the amenities of a major metropolitan center. The Package: This position includes direct employment with the hospital system and offers a full benefits package. These benefits presently include medical coverage, vision care, dental coverage, disability insurance, life insurance, accidental death or dismemberment, and professional development allowance. Physicians are entitled to a CME, professional dues and subscription allowance and paid malpractice insurance. Relocation allowance is also included.
