Havasu Regional Medical Center is a Medicare-certified, JCAHO-accredited, 181-bed acute care facility providing 24-hour emergency service with full-time emergency physicians on duty. It is a state-certified ALS Base Hospital, authorizing medical direction and support of pre-hospital care providers, fire department paramedics and ambulance personnel. The facility offers a full complement of patient-centered, community hospital and regional referral services in all of the major medical disciplines, and the hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is an active medical service component of the facility. More than 100 affiliated physicians and allied health professionals comprise the medical staff and represent a broad cross-section of specialty areas.

THE HOSPITAL
Havasu Regional Medical Center, located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is a 181-bed JCAHO-accredited acute care facility located on the Colorado River, on the northwestern border of Arizona and California, just 165 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada. The hospital has recently completed a new $35 million dollar expansion project, which includes a new dining room, kitchen, education offices, medical records, a large lab, pharmacy and more patient rooms among the additions! The hospital is certified for Medicare and JCAHO accredited. A 20-bed Transitional Care, Skilled Nursing Unit (SNF) is an active medical service component of the facility.
