Hardin Memorial Hospital, a "Top 100 Hospital" is a 300 bed regional hospital with a service area of eleven (11) counties serving a combined population of 300,000+ in Central Kentucky. It is located 40 miles south of Louisville.  The medical staff is comprised of over 200 physicians representing 32 specialties.  Hardin Memorial is a not-for-profit acute care hospital, which is county-owned. Hardin Memorial Hospital has been managed by Baptist Healthcare System since 1997.  Hardin Memorial employs over 1,600 people and is the third largest employer in Hardin County.
