MHM Services, Inc. (MHM) is
headquartered in Vienna, Virginia and employs over 2,450 clinical,
management, and support staff nationwide. Our success stems from our
commitment to hiring the best and brightest professionals in the field
and serving our client agencies with dynamic clinical programs and
professional management systems. MHM was founded in 1981 to provide
management of inpatient psychiatric units for medical-surgical
hospitals. By the mid-1990s we had over 50 management contracts and
operated six freestanding facilities of our own.
Today,
we contract with government agencies in 18 states to provide a wide
array of behavioral health and medical services in nursing homes,
correctional facilities, state psychiatric hospitals, and other
community settings.
Our contracts are managed through a
network of state and regional offices located throughout the United
States. Each MHM contract is overseen by a team of program managers and
clinical directors dedicated to meeting the unique challenges of the
client agencies they serve. The long-standing relationships MHM has
with its clients – many over ten years – is a testament to our high
