The Children’s Hospital at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a board certified board eligible pediatric pulmonologist with a strong clinical background to join the Section of Pediatric Pulmonology. The Section of Pediatric Pulmonology is comprised of two full-time staff pulmonologists, a full time pediatric nurse practitioner, a pediatric nurse and pediatric certified RRT. Primary responsibilities include clinical medicine and teaching of medical students and residents, although research is encouraged. The candidate must be trained and competent in performing pediatric bronchoscopy. Pediatric Pulmonology has a fully equipped bronchoscopy suite staffed by pediatric anesthesiologists and a dedicated pediatric pulmonary function lab.
The Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital is a 117 bed hospital that includes a 15 bed PICU and a 17 bed level III NICU. In addition, we have one of the few pediatric rehabilitation hospitals in the country. Our fulltime faculty includes over 100 pediatric specialists and subspecialists with the full complement of pediatric subspecialties represented.
