We are seeking a Full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our client's employee health center located in Boise, ID who will:
Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in health center under direction of Physician. This includes the employees, dependants and retirees of our client.
Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Records physical findings, and formulates treatment plan and prognosis.
Provides written home-going instructions. Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Educates and coaches nursing staff on best nursing practices.
While working at this large employer site, you will have the ability to get to know your patients while helping to improve their health status and taking care of their immediate health needs. The clinic is open Mon-Fri from 6am-6pm and Saturdays from 8am-2pm.

Master's degree (MSN) required.
At least two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a primary care, family practice, or emergency department setting.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or a Licensed Physician Assistant certified in Family Medicine.
Current BLS certification is required through AHA or ARC.
Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Site Medical Director, if allowed within state of practice.
