General Psychiatrist - Newark /Wilmington area – Salary, benefits & bonus
General Psychiatrist.  Full time  offering very competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits plan and bonus. The new physician will manage treatment for adult patients in our inpatient and partial programs. If interested in working with some adolescents in the caseload this can be accommodated but is not expected as we have Child Psychiatrists on staff. The schedule is Monday – Friday with limited call.
 
Rockford Center is a 92 bed treatment facility that provides easy access to a full complement of inpatient behavioral healthcare and partial hospital programs for children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric and co-occurring treatment issues. The hospital’s diverse professional staff takes a multidisciplinary approach to all treatment services. All staff members are highly trained and educated in various areas of medical and behavioral health with specific expertise in providing inpatient and partial hospital behavioral health care.
 
Rockford Center is conveniently located in Newark off I-95 and routes 4 and 7 in northern Delaware. Newark is just minutes from Wilmington and south of Philadelphia. It is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc one of the nation’s largest and most respected health care management companies. When mental health and/or substance abuse issues arise, help is on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week at Rockford Center’s Assessment Referral Center (ARC). No appointment or referral is needed.

ARC is staffed with highly trained behavioral healthcare professionals, including social workers, nurses, and counselors, who provide immediate access to confidential help – free of charge. Whether conducting telephone screenings or face-to-face assessments, ARC’s behavioral healthcare specialists work as a team to develop and initiate the recommended course of treatment.
