Join our team at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in southwest Georgia, located midway between Columbus and Macon. This modular facility in Americus, Georgia, is a busy emergency department with an annual volume of 22,000. Mid-level coverage is provided 11 hours daily. At a minimum, physicians must be board certified or eligible in a primary care specialty with significant emergency medicine experience. Certifications in ACLS and ATLS are also required.
