Requirements:

Must have thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of modern dentistry, of the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and of current developments in specialty. Graduated from an accredited dental program and currently licensed in the State of Alabama. Maintain appropriate CME requirements as determined by his/her dental specialty and all dental requirements as required by the State of Alabama Dental Association.

Responsibilities:

Have the direct responsibility, supervision, instruction, treatment and evaluation of patients. Organizes and conducts dental care programs to facilitate maximum wellness and rehabilitation of patients. Perform clinical dental services for patients which include examination and treatment planning, oral cancer screenings, amalgam and composite restorations, pit and fissure sealants, bonded restoration, extractions, root canal therapy, minor oral surgery, periodontal treatments, full and partial denture construction and other required procedures.
