The Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic invites BC/BE-trained vascular surgeons to become part of America’s number-one ranked (U.S. News & World Report) cardiovascular program. We seek expertise in the surgical treatment carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, and peripheral vascular disease, as well as a passion for quality, innovation and teamwork. Exciting staff positions in our regional hospital system are available.

 

Cleveland Clinic offers an outstanding practice environment for vascular surgeons.  You will have the opportunity to work on a high volume of challenging and complex cases, with experienced partners and highly qualified support personnel.  Your practice environment will include newly built Vascular Surgery Operating Rooms, Endovascular Suites, and Interventional Radiology privileges. You will do only vascular surgery with no general surgery call.

 

We have staff positions available at MarymountHospital and HillcrestHospital - - both in the Cleveland Clinic health system.  These are outstanding community hospitals completely owned and operated by Cleveland Clinic. You will be a full member of the Department of Vascular Surgery of the Miller Heart & Vascular Institute, and work closely with your colleagues there.

 

The Miller Heart & Vascular Institute includes 130 physicians, 1,000 nurses, and 1,000 support personnel.  MarymountHospital has access to 9 operating rooms and 248 inpatient beds.  HillcrestHospital has access to 19 operating rooms and 424 beds. Both facilities have up-to-date, specialized ICUs.  The Miller Heart & Vascular Institute, MarymountHospital and HillcrestHospital are all supported by the personnel and resources of the internationally known Cleveland Clinic and its integrated system of RegionalHospitals and 17 family health and ambulatory surgery centers.

The Cleveland Clinic Department of Vascular Surgery is a major referral center for the Great Lakes Region, New York and West Virginia, and international referrals.  Cleveland Clinic’s highest CMS case-mix index in the nation is reflected in the variety and complexity of cases seen in the Department of Vascular Surgery.
