Location: Central Michigan city of 100,000.  It offers abundant recreation, entertainment and cultural activities, excellent schools, affordable housing and convenient location.  The city is about 120 miles from Detroit and 170 miles from Chicago.  Three major universities and seven small colleges are within an hour's drive.  

Facility: A 200 +-private room secondary level hospital, with an accredited cancer care center including radiation oncology with IMRT and PET, EMR and a state-of-the-art surgical center that includes a Da Vinci S HD robotic surgery system. 

Opportunity : Outpatient Only!! An office-based hospital-owned practice of three BC Internists and a BC Geriatric specialist needs to add 2 Internists to replace 2 physicians. Inpatients are seen by hospitalists.The office has an on-site laboratory and is equipped to perform procedures and tests including stress, colposcopy, EKG, X-ray, bone density, and echo/ultrasound. Call coverage will be 1/5 weekdays and 1/7 on weekends with mid-level providers screening weekend calls.   

Compensation: Salary will be $165,000 - $175,000 with a productivity-based incentive and hospital-provided malpractice insurance and benefits including health insurance, CME and PTO.
