Join three general IM specialists practicing a broad scope of internal medicine.  Physicians currently enjoy practicing inpatient and outpatient medicine with a 1:3 call schedule, referring as needed to the local hospitalist program. 

The practice is located in a recently-constructed, attractive facility across the street from St. CharlesMedicalCenter – Redmond.  The suite can accommodate four physicians, and practice physicians typically see approximately 20 patients daily.  In addition to the normal outpatient Internal Medicine scope of services, the practice operates a coumadin clinic and has equipment for cardiac stress testing. 

St. Charles Medical Center-Redmond is a 48-bed community hospital, serving northern DeschutesCounty and the surrounding communities.  It has 40 physicians on its medical staff, including specialists in family practice, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and general surgery, among others.  As the service area has grown, the hospital has responded by growing its services and offering inpatient and outpatient surgery, maternity care, critical care, radiology, laboratory, emergency services and medical inpatient care.  SCMC-R is a JCAHO accredited facility.

The goal of St. Charles Redmond has always been to provide a first-class medical facility that will be the first choice for the care and treatment of Redmond area residents.  To that end, the JELD-WENTower was completed in the fall of 2006. The $30 million addition brought St. Charles Redmond state-of-the-art surgery suites, private patient rooms and room to continue growing for the future.

The practice contracts for professional office management from Cascade Medical Group, LLC, a branch of Cascade Healthcare Community, LLC, which also operates the hospital.  This management arrangement has led to practice efficiencies and increased physician incomes.

The physician joining the practice would have the option to join the practice directly as an employee with a support agreement from the hospital.  Very competitive earnings and benefits are offered, and future ownership opportunities would be available.

Redmond is a community of 25,000 located in scenic central Oregon, with abundant year-round recreational opportunities.  It is within a half-hour of Mt. Bachelor Ski Area.
