Meridian Health is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to work in the role of clinical leader. The successful candidate will have clinical oversight of the adult mental health and adult addition treatment teams in the outpatient behavioral health department. Schedule includes one evening until 7PM and participation in the on-call rotation: telephonic coversage of Crisis during weekday and telephonic coverage of Crisis and inpatient weeknights; this averages 3-4 day/night per month. Responsibilities include performing Psychiatric Evaluations and medication management of adult outpatients.

The Meridian Health Outpatient program in Neptune, NJ assists community members with learning more effective ways of managing their personal troubles, such as difficult family issues and emotional disorders. We offer a range of outpatient treatment services, including individual, group, couples and family psychotherapies and some specialized services. We also offer a range of outpatient treatment services for adults who abuse addictive substances as well as providing outpatient services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness by offering medication monitoring and care management.
