Part of the Inova Health System, Mount Vernon Hospital is a 232-bed full service community hospital serving the southeastern part of Fairfax County. The hospital has been recognized as one of the top 100 orthopedic hospitals in the nation, specializing in joint replacement rehab. The hospital provides a wide range of surgical, medical and critical care services including cancer, emergency, psychiatric, cardiac rehab, breast health, hyperbaric oxygen and dialysis care, and has a total of 75000 hospital admissions per year. The Emergency Department has a total of 22 beds, and is staffed by a stable team of Emergency Physicians and Nursing Staff.
