Amid all the technology and skill that is brought to bear against diseases, disorders and traumas, at Loyola you will find nurses, physicians and other clinical staff whose commitment to treating you first as a person remains intact. This extra measure of compassion is a unique phenomenon and an integral part of the mission of Loyola University Health System. It’s also part of our promise to you: to go beyond the illness to treat your whole person.

Recognized Leader

Loyola University Health System (Loyola) is a nationally recognized leader in providing health care and in conducting groundbreaking research to treat heart disease, cancer, organ transplantation and neurological disorders. Serving the Community

Loyola takes its commitment to the community very seriously. We regularly invest time, energy and finances to benefit the people we serve. In fact, in fiscal year 2007 alone, we provided more than $180 million in unreimbursed care, charity care, research, education and other services to our communities. For Loyola, our community benefit is about providing medical care to those in need, programs that improve overall health education and research. Our community benefit goes far beyond meeting obligations; our commitment is practical, spiritual and financial.

Part of the Team

Working at Loyola is more than a career; it’s a calling. Please let us know if you are interested in joining Loyola as an employee or a volunteer. With your help, we can advance the future of medicine at Loyola.

Loyola also relies upon philanthropic partners who are similarly invested in and committed to significant positive impact on the health of our community.
