Cherokee Nation Health Services (CNHS) is the largest tribally owned and operated healthcare system in the nation. Our system includes eight outpatient facilities, one hospital, a public health system, an adolescent rehabilitation facility, and EMS. Our areas of excellence include primary care, obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, women's health, pediatrics and dentistry. We provide a wide array of primary care services with over one million patient visits a year.

CNHS is committed to the highest quality of care and the most advanced, effective treatments for those we serve across Northeastern Oklahoma. With over 150 physicians and over 2000 employees, we are the gem of the region in continuity of care. Committed to building state of the art facilities and improving patient access, Cherokee Nation has invested substantially in  advanced technology, building new clinics and facility expansions. We have gained accreditation with DNVGL; ISO certified; CAP and recognized as a Baby-Friendly Designated Hospital.

We are the first tribe to obtain accreditation by Det Norske Veritas (DNV).

We are the first tribe in Oklahoma to achieve accreditation by Commission on Accreditation by Ambulance Services (CAAS).

Numerous other certifications are held by individual health programs, including but not limited to: Radiology, Optometry and Laboratory.
