Ellsworth County Medical Center has a long history of being the premiere service provider in North Central Kansas. We are a 19-bed critical access hospital with four Rural Health Clinics in Ellsworth, Lucas, Wilson, and Holyrood, KS. We are continuously seeking opportunities to grow.
Our group practice consists of three primary care physicians, three full-time Physician Assistants, and one fulltime Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Currently, specialists in cardiology, nephrology, professional hearing, gastroenterology, podiatry, orthopedics, OB/GYN, wound care and mental health services, etc. provide out-patient or telemedicine clinics at the facility.
Ellsworth is situated between two beautiful state parks and state-operated lakes; Wilson and Kanopolis Lakes. Both lakes offer boating, sailing, skiing and swimming opportunities. Various sports are also readily available; cross-county skiing, horseback riding, and hiking. Shopping is abundant in Salina, Great Bend, Hays or Wichita. Ellsworth is within one hour’s drive of a number of colleges; Kansas Wesleyan University, Barton County Community College, Bethany College, Kansas State University, Sterling College, and Fort Hays State University.
