Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is a community hospital located about 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. Care is provided through the main hospital campus in suburban Lake Forest and an outpatient facility in Grayslake, Ill., which also includes a free-standing emergency room. Lake Forest Hospital is served by a medical staff of more than 700 employed and affiliated physicians. The hospital also received American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet® re-designation in 2015, the gold standard for nursing excellence and quality care.
