Your Opportunity Awaits!

Cherokee Nation Health Services (CNHS) is the largest tribally owned and operated healthcare system in the nation. Our system includes nine outpatient facilities, one hospital, a public health system, an adolescent rehabilitation facility, and EMS. Our areas of excellence include primary care, obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, women's health, pediatrics and dentistry. We provide a wide array of primary care services with over 1.3 million patient visits a year.

CNHS recently opened its new state-of-the-art 469,000-square-foot health facility in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The new Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center features more than 240 exam rooms, two MRI machines, an ambulatory surgery center, 34 dental chairs, full service optometry and specialty health services. This beautiful facility showcases over 600 pieces of Cherokee art and art-related items on display, including 64 items made by Cherokee National Treasures. An interactive experience on the third floor, near the pediatrics department, will teach children Cherokee words. The Cherokee Nation invested about $200 million of its general fund dollars into the facility’s construction and purchase of equipment. IHS is funding $100 million per year in staffing and operating costs in a historic joint-venture agreement with the tribe.

CNHS is committed to the highest quality of care and the most advanced, effective treatments for those we serve across Northeastern Oklahoma. With nearly 200 physicians and over 2,300 health employees, we have been referred to as the gem of the region in continuity of care. Committed to building state of the art facilities and improving patient access, Cherokee Nation has invested substantially in it's employees, advanced technology, building new clinics and facility expansions.
