OUR HOSPITALS

Just 10 miles north of downtown Montgomery, Prattville Baptist Hospital is situated in the blossoming city of Prattville, an area poised for near-double digit growth in the next five years. Prattville Baptist Hospital is an acute care, 85-bed community hospital offering a full range of health services to residents of Autauga and Elmore counties.

Located in the fastest growing area of Montgomery, Baptist Medical Center East has doubled its bed size to 150 and increased services offered to the community since it opened in 1977. Recently, Baptist Medical Center East expanded its emergency department, endoscopy services, labor & delivery floor and several medical and surgical units.

THE COMMUNITY

As central Alabama s leading tertiary care facility, 454-bed Baptist Medical Center South continues to grow, delivering care to more than 50,000 patients each year in the emergency department and enhancing a full spectrum of clinical services, including cardiac, vascular, orthopaedics, general surgery, trauma, neurology, obstetrics, neonatology, gynecology, urology, psychiatry and pediatric care.

Montgomery is the capital city of Alabama and is located in the central part of the state, 100 miles south of Birmingham, the state s largest city, two hours from Atlanta and just three hours from gulf beaches. The tri-county area has a population of approximately 325,000 and a draw area of approximately 600,000 potential patients.
