Unity Health-White County Medical Center, located in Searcy, has a combined total of 438 licensed beds and a medical staff of 150 physicians that specialize in various areas of healthcare. White County Medical Center is the only hospital in Arkansas to receive the Governor's Quality Award twice. The Arkansas Governor's Quality Award is the highest level of recognition presented to state organizations that have demonstrated the highest level of performance excellence through their practices and achievements. 

In addition to the White County Medical Center and Specialty Care Campuses, Unity Health in Searcy includes numerous outpatient clinics that offer primary and specialty care as well as an after-hours clinic. Outstanding facilities and services provided by some of the best health care professionals in the state have allowed our medical community to become a major referral site for north central Arkansas.   

Searcy, AR is situated near the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, on the banks of the crystal clear Little Red River. With a location 50 miles north of Little Rock and 100 miles west of Memphis, Searcy provides quick access to the benefits of these cities, but offers the retreat of a suburban lifestyle.  Searcy is surrounded by rivers, lakes, mountains, and forests, which allow for a host of recreational and outdoor activities. With award-winning public and private educational institutions and a diverse industrial and commercial sector, Searcy is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Searcy is home to Harding University which is a private liberal arts and sciences university. Arkansas State University also has a technical campus located in Searcy.  

Unity Health – Harris Medical Center, located in Newport, is a 133-bed facility with complete inpatient and outpatient care. The Harris Medical Center staff believes in the power of people to create great care.  Harris Medical Center is more than 225 healthcare professionals strong and works hard every day to create a place of healing, caring and connection for patients and families in the community they call home. In addition to the hospital campus, the Unity Health network in Newport also includes numerous primare and specilaty care clinics.

Newport, AR is located along the White River and has a population of nearly 8,000 residents. Newport offers a safe community with a mild climate and a countryside conducive to the avid sportsperson. With two 18 hole golf courses, abundant fishing and other recreational activities, Newport is perfect for a weekend or a lifetime! Arkansas State University-Newport campus offers an excellent education with a friendly hometown atmosphere. It is an easy commute, if you desire to travel to the larger cities nearby. Searcy, AR (35 miles), Little Rock, AR (90 miles) and Memphis, TN (90 miles) offer additional activities to enjoy.
