Adventist Health Simi Valley (AHSV) is a 144-bed acute-care facility located in Ventura County, California, serving the communities of Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks and the West San Fernando Valley. Key services include cardiopulmonary, Child Development Center, imaging with CT, MRI and bone densitometry, emergency services, home health, GI lab, ICU/telemetry, inpatient and outpatient surgery, inpatient therapies (PT/OT/ST), laboratory, Level II NICU, The Nancy Reagan Breast Center, pharmacy and women’s services.
AHSV has been recognized by The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for achieving excellence in performance on its accountability measures for AMI (Acute myocardial infarction, or heart attack) and pneumonia care.
In 2016, AHSV had 7,575 admissions, 549 deliveries, 33,886 emergency visits, and 85,116 outpatient visits. The medical center is staffed by 277 physicians, 857 employees and 250 volunteers.
