Located in the Lakeview neighborhood on the north side of Chicago , Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is a 551-bed hospital and a state-designated Level I trauma center and Level III perinatal and obstetric center. Illinois Masonic features a comprehensive inpatient hospital, including a trauma center, medical, surgical, obstetrics and pediatric inpatient care services, and extensive cardiology program; outpatient services; and a professional office building. The medical staff consists of more than 1,000 physicians in a wide array of specialties. In a typical year, the physicians and highly skilled nursing staff care for more than 20,000 inpatients, 149,000 outpatients and 35,000 emergency patients, and handle 142,000 patient visits to primary care and specialty centers.
Advocate Christ Medical Center is a 695-bed, not-for-profit teaching, research and referral medical center in Oak Lawn , Illinois . It also is home to, one of the most comprehensive providers of pediatric care in the state. The medical center is a leader in cardiology, pediatrics, surgical services, oncology, women’s services and emergency medicine. Christ Medical Center has a medical staff of more than 900 physicians, representing over 60 specialties and subspecialties. Christ Medical Center is also a state-designated Level I trauma center, providing trauma patients with the most sophisticated emergency medical care, and a Level III perinatal and obstetric center. The emergency department treats more than 80,000 patients annually, including more trauma patients than any other Illinois hospital.
