For the 2nd year in a row, Aspirus was recognized by IBM Watson Health as a Top 15 Health System in its annual study identifying the top-performing health systems in the country. We are a system of 10 hospitals and more than 50 clinics that spans over 25,000 square miles throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Currently, over 585 providers are located throughout the system and have the opportunity to affect approximately 604,000 lives.

Aspirus was incorporated in 1982 as parent corporation and facilitator for a regional health care network of partnerships. It is a non-profit holding company, whose mission is to plan, develop and implement health care services in central and northern Wisconsin. Improving consumer access to health services, assuring cost-effective quality health care services and providing for continuity of care are basic to its existence.
Covering an 14-county region in central and northern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Aspirus is a successfully integrated health care system including physicians, hospitals, clinics, home care providers, and other related organizations.
