Aspirus Woodruff Clinic
For the 2nd year in a row, Aspirus was recognized by IBM Watson Health as a Top 15 Health System in its annual study identifying the top-performing health systems in the country. We are a system of 10 hospitals and more than 50 clinics that spans over 25,000 square miles throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Currently, over 585 providers are located throughout the system and have the opportunity to affect approximately 604,000 lives.
Woodruff has approximately 1,958 year-round residents, which jumps to many more during the summer months. At just 38 square miles, Woodruff is part of the Lakeland area, which is considered to have one of the largest concentrations of fresh water bodies in the world.
Approximately 95 percent of Woodruff is owned by federal, state and county interests and is not available for private sale, ensuring an enviable recreational environment for all future generations. The natural resources of the area are managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for the benefit of public and private enterprise.
