Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln has been the healthcare leader in Lincoln County since 1969. New beginnings birth center includes a special care nursery with four Level II nursery beds and 10 private LDRP (labor, delivery recovery and post-partum) rooms. Additional patient service areas include 77 medical/surgical patient rooms; 24 Emergency Department examination rooms and two trauma rooms; 10 critical care unit beds; and four operating rooms. Each patient room at the new hospital is equipped with flat-panel televisions, wireless Internet access as well as extended-stay furnishings for the comfort of family members.
