Blue Ridge PACE
PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a program that provides and coordinates all of the care you need, all by one team, all in one place, so you can continue living in your home and community rather than a nursing facility. PACE doctors and other caregivers specialize in working with older adults and their families. PACE is focused on caring for a person's spiritual, emotional and social health, not just their combination of medical conditions. Take a look at PACE. You'll find it is unlike any other care program you've seen.
Blue Ridge PACE provides a range of services twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, three hundred sixty-five (365) days a year. A team of health care professionals will watch for changes in your condition, provide treatment, and encourage you to remain as independent as possible. Medical care, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutritional services, medical social work services, and home care services, are offered through Blue Ridge PACE. Special medical services such as hearing, dentistry, vision, psychiatry and speech therapy also are an important part of your care and will be provided and coordinated through PACE.
Blue Ridge PACE, a partnership between Riverside Health System, The University of Virginia Medical Center, and the Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA), is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly serving seniors who live in Charlottesville and surrounding counties.
