Canyon Vista Medical Center serves as the medical hub for southeast Arizona. Growth and advancing technology dictated building a new 177,000 square foot hospital with 100 beds which opened May 2015. The Level III Trauma, Joint Commission accredited facility offers Emergency services, a very busy Maternal Child unit with birthing suites and a Level I Nursery; Intensive Care and Critical Care departments; and complete Rehabilitation services. Over 120 physicians and allied health professionals comprise the active medical staff at Canyon Vista and serve in various specialties ranging from Family Medicine to General Surgery, and Interventional Cardiology to Vascular Surgery.
