Arlington, Washington, is located in Snohomish County, approximately 10 miles north of Everett and 41 miles north of Seattle. The varied topography of Snohomish County ranges from saltwater beaches, rolling hills, and rich river-bottom farmlands in the west to dense forests and alpine wilderness in the mountainous east. At an elevation of 10,541 feet, nearby Glacier Peak is one of the highest mountains in the country. Desert, lush canyons, waterfalls, forested riverbanks, and great mountain views can be enjoyed by rafting or floating the waterways. Arlington is in close proximity to four state parks, and it is just a quick jaunt to the San Juan Islands where you can enjoy whale watching.
