Formed in 1998 under four religious sponsors, Catholic Health in Buffalo, NY is a non-profit healthcare system that provides care to Western New Yorkers across a network of hospitals, primary care centers, imaging centers, and several other community ministries.

History:  Privately owned facility with a 65 year history of treating behavioral health in Western New York (Buffalo area) and Canada. It is the first licensed psychiatric hospital Western New York established in 1955. 1976 addiction services were established and 1991 the facility began treatments for dual diagnosis of addiction and mental health disorders. In 2002, acupuncture was added to its Substance Abuse Program and in 2010 yoga, tai chi, and drumming circles provide alternatives in programming. Brylin Behavioral Health Services continues to expand options and offerings to patients and families.

Location: The inpatient hospital is located in downtown Buffalo on Delaware Avenue (known as the Mansion Row) which is minutes from the Buffalo Medical Corridor and the new Buffalo Medical School which will be opening in 2017.  Outpatient services are located in the Buffalo suburb of Williamsville, NY. Commuting times are short between locations.
