As an independent, non-profit hospital, CVMC is solely focused on delivering the highest quality of health care to Sylacauga and its surrounding communities.
Often referred to as “Alabama’s best kept secret,” the city of Sylacauga offers an excellent quality of life in a small-town setting. Located just east of the state’s center, Sylacauga is less than an hour’s drive to Birmingham and only 63 miles from Montgomery. An outstanding school system and family-friendly atmosphere place Sylacauga among the “Top 100 Communities for Young People” by the America’s Promise Foundation. Affordable housing, a diverse business mix, cultural arts and year-round activities make the city an ideal place for individuals and families alike. The region’s mild climate is picture-perfect for outdoor recreation like golfing, camping or boating on Lake Howard or nearby Lake Martin, one of the largest man-made lakes in the United States.
