About Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital
Since its founding as a small community hospital in 1894, Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital has grown into one of eastern Kansas’ most established health care facilities. It’s the only locally owned, faith-based hospital in Leavenworth, serving residents of Leavenworth, Lansing, and the surrounding communities.
Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital offers patients access to specialists who offer the latest treatment and technology. It has 54 beds.
Our services include a 24-hour Emergency Department—certified as Emergent Stroke Ready Hospital, 24-hour cardiology care, Intensive Care Unit with eICU, Maternity Center with modern labor/delivery/recovery rooms, rehabilitation services, comprehensive radiology services, 3-D mammography, and interventional pain management clinic.
Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2014 by launching a multimillion-dollar series of renovations that are part of a five-year, $20 million expansion. The hospital has received numerous state and national awards and is recognized by The Joint Commission.
