Deaconess Health System is a premiere provider of health care services in a 26-county area of Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois. This system includes six hospitals, located in southern Indiana: Deaconess Hospital, a 323-bed acute care teaching hospital and level II trauma center; Deaconess Gateway Hospital, a 145-bed acute care hospital; The Women's Hospital, serving the needs of women and infants and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit; Deaconess Cross Pointe, a behavioral health hospital serving health care needs of teens, adults, seniors and their families in both inpatient and outpatient facilities; HealthSouth Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital, providing both inpatient and outpatient rehab services and The Heart Hospital, providing the latest diagnostic and treatment technology for cardiac patients.
