Dignity Health - Chandler Regional Medical Center
About Chandler Regional Medical Center--For more than 50 years Chandler Regional has been caring for our community. Our humble beginnings as a true community hospital, which opened with only 40 beds, 25 employees and 91 volunteers, laid the foundation for the full-service acute-care hospital it is today. Today Chandler Regional is a 339-bed acute-care, not-for-profit community hospital providing innovative and exceptional healthcare to East Valley residents. We employ more than 1,900 employees, have upwards of 850 doctors on staff representing all major specialties, and benefit from the services of 410 volunteers. And we re growing. A new five-story tower has added 96 patient beds, expanded emergency services, surgical services and intensive care unit. The hospital began operating as a Level I Trauma Center in March 2014 after being granted provisional designation by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Official designation is expected later this fall. We are proud to be an important part of our local economy and an award-winning employer, while giving back to those who support us through our Community Grants Program. Our award-winning hospital is home to a full range of services, including heart care, emergency care, maternity service, wound healing, and diagnostic services, among others.
