FQHC Full Service Organization
We provide integrated health services for more than 50,000 patients in areas surrounding Aiken, Clarendon, Florence, Orangeburg, and Williamsburg counties. Our organization was founded in 1991 as a grassroots HIV/AIDS support organization, and was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2007 to expand its services to include primary and pediatric care. We now have 12 locations (10 community health centers and two infectious diseases treatment and prevention centers) and over 90 providers covering primary care, dental care, chiropractic care, rheumatology, endocrinology, behavioral health and psychiatry, pain management, substance use treatment, and women’s health services.
We educate our patients on the importance of having a health care home. As a patient-centered medical home, our medical team works to prevent and detect illness and the early onset of disease, provide routine physical examinations, and promote overall healthy lifestyles. Our health care providers offer access to basic health care services and integrate a range of health resources to provide the very best in patient care, prevention, and support services.
