Greenbrier Valley Medical Center
Greenbrier Valley Medical Center serves as a teaching facility for the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and hosts a Family Practice residency program.
Settled circa 1775, Ronceverte, a French word meaning "Greenbrier," was incorporated in 1882. Ronceverte boasts over 51 firsts for the town including the first area hospital, power plant, fire engine and district schools. Ronceverte provides a unique bedroom community, accentuated by a quaint historic district, affordable housing, and access to hiking and biking trails.
