Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals is the largest healthcare provider in Macomb County. It includes:

Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals employs nearly 3,100 people, and its medical staff numbers more than 1,100. More than 1,000 volunteers help Henry Ford Macomb fulfill its healing mission. Services are provided to roughly one-half million residents in this bustling, suburban area. Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals has an active Graduate Medical Education program, which offers the traditional internship program and residency programs in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN and Family Practice.

Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals in Clinton Township provides comprehensive, acute care. Specialty services include a Heart & Vascular Institute, which has been named a 2007 Thomson's Top 100 Hospital for Cardiovascular Care. The hospital is also in the top 10 in the world in the number of robotic cardiac procedures performed. Our surgeons also use robotic technology in the areas of urology, gynecology and urogynecology.

Other specialty services include a Cancer Care Center, provided in partnership with Josephine Ford Cancer Center; a Center for Joint Replacement; a Birthing Center with 17 Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum suites; a 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation program; and a busy Surgery & Endoscopy Center. Our Breast Health Center has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.

In April 2005, Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals became one of the first healthcare facilities in the region to introduce an electronic medical record. The electronic medical record gives clinicians access to patient information instantly. Physicians can log in from their home or office to check on patients, review tests or issue orders.

Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals in Warren also provides acute care. Its areas of expertise include the Bariatric Surgery Center and the Center for Joint Replacement. With a newly renovated state-of-the-art surgical wing; the Warren Campus also houses one of two da Vinci Surgical Systems, and will perform gynecology and urology surgical procedures. Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals Warren Campus is noted to have one of the first established, most renowned Osteopathic training programs in the country.

Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals facilities are located north of Detroit in the rapidly growing Macomb County region. In the State of Michigan, Macomb County ranks third in population with 836,000 people.
